FlexiSnake Drain Weasel: pull the hair clog out of the drain

Click a wand into the handle, feed it past the stopper, turn, and lift. The micro-hooks bring the hair up in one piece, and the wand goes in the bin with it. FlexiSnake has made hair clog tools since 2006.

Watch it work

Insert, spin, lift: three steps and no chemicals

The FlexiSnake film shows the whole job on a real sink and a real tub: the wand goes in, the handle turns, and the hair comes up wound around the hooks.

  1. 1Insert. Click a wand into the quick-connect handle and feed it down the drain, past the stopper or through the strainer.
  2. 2Spin. Turn the handle a few times. The micro-hooks along the wand wind the hair and the soap film around themselves.
  3. 3Lift and toss. Pull the wand straight up with the clog on it, then drop the wand in the bin. The handle stays clean for next time.

Hair grows back. The wand goes in the bin.

Every Drain Weasel wand clicks off the handle with the clog still on it, so you never pick hair off a tool. When the drain slows again in a few months, a new wand clicks in. Refill cards of five and ten fit the handle you already own, from $18.99.

How it compares

A hand tool or a bottle of drain opener?

Both are sold for the same slow drain. The difference is what happens to the hair and what you handle while you clear it.

One bathroom

If you look after one sink and one shower, a kit with 3 or 5 wands of 18 inches lasts a long time.

Drain Weasel kit

A busy house

Two or three showers and long hair: the kit of 10, or the Pro with heavier wands you rinse and reuse.

Pro Drain Weasel

Tub with an overflow

If the 18-inch wand comes back clean, take the Max with 20-inch or 30-inch wands.

Drain Weasel Max

Deep in the pipe

For hair past the first bend, the PowerSnake reaches 36 inches by hand or drill, and the MAX Power turns a 30-inch wand with your drill.

You own a handle

Keep the handle you have and buy wands only: cards of 5 and 10 fit the handle from any Drain Weasel kit.

About FlexiSnake

20 years of pulling hair out of drains

FlexiSnake started in central Illinois in 2006 with a simple observation: a slow bathroom drain is almost always hair, and hair should come up and out, not be pushed down or dissolved. The Drain Weasel is that idea in its current form, and every other product in the FlexiSnake selection grew around it.
